Hi JustaSheep23, I followed your steps and I do get sound through HDMI from my Intel Board into my HomeTheater audio now. So thanks for writing down those steps.
Need to do a few more experiments now with the new setup, like working with Media Center or XBMC and use the setup for HTPC use and controlling through an iPad.
