Hello Joe, thanks a lot for posting your inquire at Intel communities.

I see you bought a new computer and you would like to move the existing RAID volumes to it.

I would like to tell you that as long as the other computers support the same Raid configuration it will be possible to move the arrays.  It is important that the arrays needs to be for storage only.

If the second RAID 1 is bootable, it may or may not work on the new computer since the operating system was install on a specific chipset, therefore you might get a blue screen and it will be necessary to install the OS again.

For the storage array, you would need to set the computer on RAID mode and boot to the OS. You do not have to set the RAID on the Ctrl+I menu.

I suggest you checking with Dell, if the chipset of these computers support the same RAID configuration.

Additional information could be found at the following URL Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) — Moving a RAID volume to a different system

I hope this help you, if you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our technical support team. Contact Support

Regards,
