Has there been any updates to this request?  I also have a Lenovo Y50-70 notebook attempting to connect to a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter with no luck.  I have worked with the Lenovo support team and they have updated all drivers on my computer.  The issue seems very similar to what was mentioned in the above thread so i thought this would be a good place to post my similar issue.  When I connect my computer to the Microsoft wireless display adapter to the TV is connects for a .5 second then disconnects.  I believe the adapter works just fine because I am able to connect my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone with no issues.  Please let me know if there are any additional information outside of firmware updates.
